The rainbow meditation is a form of directed meditation. This method slowly leads you away from things which cause you any anxiety or stress and towards inner peace. Before doing the exercise, read the process several times slowly, and attentively.

 

If you wish, close your eyes.

Relax.

Imagine a bright and beautiful rainbow across the sky.

Picture it so close that you can see each color perfectly.

Red

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color red.

Relax your physical body.

Orange

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color orange.

Check and control your emotions.

Yellow

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color yellow.

Relax your mind.

Green

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color green.

Find a state of tranquility within yourself.

Blue

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color blue.

Fill yourself with love.

Indigo

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color indigo.

Find your most hidden, inner self.

Violet

Take a deep breath and while you inhale, visualize the color violet.

Stay with your most hidden and intimate self.

You are now on your deepest mental level.

Now, focus on any goal you want to reach.

Immerse yourself in your deep mental level.

Let yourself be inspired.

Now, prepare yourself to come out from your levels.

As you come out from your deep and intimate mental levels, a sense of peace penetrates your whole body, you feel cleansed.

Your visual capacity is clearer, your whole being is in perfect harmony.

Now visualize the colors of the rainbow in reverse order.

Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red.

Open your eyes.

Now, you are fully awake.

You are regenerated and refreshed.

You are calm, balanced, and ready to act.

Exercises like the rainbow meditation method ease the pressures of everyday life. The principal benefit of this meditation is to bring inner peace and release any stress and anxiety. By practicing rainbow meditation regularly, you can develop more self-confidence and live a more balanced life.
